StudentOS Privacy Policy
StudentOS (“we”, “us”) is a student productivity app for courses, tasks, calendar, focus sessions, and Ask AI study help. This policy explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
Account details (name, email), profile photo if you add one, school and study preferences, courses, tasks, calendar events, exams, focus sessions, and messages you send to Ask AI so we can power your workspace.
How we use it
To sync your StudentOS workspace, send optional reminders, and run Ask AI (ChatGPT) with the context needed to help you plan. We do not sell your personal data.
Ask AI
Prompts and relevant study context are sent to our servers and then to OpenAI to generate replies. Do not paste secrets or sensitive third-party credentials into chat.
Calendars & photos
Calendar access is optional and used to import events you choose. Camera and photo library access are only used for your profile picture.
Storage & retention
Your data is stored in your StudentOS account workspace. You can clear workspace data in Settings, or permanently delete your account and associated server data from Settings → Delete account.
Your choices
You can update your profile, disconnect calendars, clear workspace data, sign out, or delete your account. For privacy questions, contact the support email listed on our App Store listing.
Children
StudentOS is intended for students and general audiences. It is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
